Moving from the mid west to Los Angeles in 1987, Blake earned a Masters Degree in Cinematography from The American Film Institute in 1991.  He joined Local 600 and shot his first 35mm Feature in 1993 for the legendary film producer Roger Corman.  Blake has shot films in Honduras, Peru, Thailand, the Philippines, Korea, Taiwan, Canada, Hungary, the Czech Republic, France, Spain, Mexico and Colombia. Switching to network television in 2000, Blake has shot for all the major networks on such series as the District, Desperate Housewives, the Middle and Samantha Who?  He has shot 50 episodes of Dramatic Television and over 240 episodes of 1/2 hour single camera comedy.
